Time and Space by welder Time and Space by welder
According to Einstein's relativity, we know that time and space are one and the same. Yet we can't help but perceive them as separate. And we go to great lengths to measure and divide them down to the smallest of units.

Maybe it's because that way we can trick ourselves into not feeling small.

well congrats on something that should have been done weeks ago. But its obvious that people dont look to hard around here.

Well done Art, clever and arranged perfectly. I really like the overall balance, the whites are strong and so are the blacks, great shooting my friend!

Really splendid shot. I love the lines, and the woman in the lower left corner, she really goes along with your description.
I ususally would be irked by how center the focus of the clock is placed, but all the other asymmetrical aspects of the lines and shadow keep the viewer from feeling so center. I truly admire this work.

Not a bad B&W. The clock has main emphasis in the photos elements, drawing the eye to it due to its familiarty.

The catch of highlights here is well done. I personally like to see a little more grey elements in my B&W's, but thats me.

What is fantastic about this shot though is the balance of lights and darks. The photos is smooth and easy to the eye BECAUSE of the balance of the dark and light elements, placed equally throughout the image.

A well done shot. Well deserving of a DD.

Beautiful contrast and tone, but even more beautiful is the concept behind the photo. Perhaps it's my love for black and white photography, or my obsession with Einstein's work, but I absolutely love it. I also agree with previous comments, that sometimes a comment or description from the artist detracts from the beauty and simplicity of a piece, but in this case I really think that yours enhanced it. Excellent work.

Ah! What I like the most must definitely be the lines leading the eye
into the shot and then down until you see the clock... The high
contrast is amazing too! I always fall for the good high-contrast bw
photoes oP

The person in the bottom left corner goes well with your comment
on this shot, with us tricking ourselves into not feeling small. I find
it weird how the lines at the bottom of the shot are curved. But then
again, it makes this shot softer. If they were as straight as the ones
at the top it probably would have made the shot too sharp, almost
like nothing's happening.

As I mentioned earlier, great work on the contrast! The blackness
is amazing! I keep staring at this, loving the brightness/darkness o)

How long did you wait for someone to walk into the frame? ;o)

Great work! o)
