Seaweed Bracelet

Picture no. 1000 on my Deviantart!

I figured posting this as my 1000'nd image on my 40'th birthday would be a befitting marker.

Bracelet in antiqued copper, wrapped around a navette in smokey quartz (Lab created, so no dwarves were harmed in the process), peridot granulate beads and Chez fire polished glass plus vintage brass motif pressings.

Wrapping itself lovely around the wrist, open in the back so fitting most sizes, yet sterdy and with a solid feeling to it.


I've finally tried setting up a photo booth and getting some ideas finished!
At last my hand is on the mend and I am staying at home, slowly putting my ideas together after keeping them inside for way too long. The road ahead is long, my hand is still not -well- and I've a lot of mending and rehabilitation to do. However, nowdays I can actually hold a hammer and use it, gently. I need to start from the beginning and it is very frustrating, but at least I can see now that not all is lost.
Like an athlete needing to learn how to walk and run again, I have to be patient and forgive myself and not be so relentlessly perfectionistic and expect my finest. I need to learn how to walk first.
But I am moving forwards!
