Home for the Holidays
A Contest Challenge to depict being Home for the Holidays, whether it is a Christmas Lighting on the Square of a Town, a gathering at someone's house in a festive setting, a neighborhood light display, a Holiday Party, greeting family for a celebration, sled riding with friends, ice skating amid Holiday decor or just lounging in front of a warm fire, how do you interpret being Home for the Holidays?
Submit your entry to the Home for the Holidays folder at @DevNews ~ must be PG and undoubtedly Safe for Work! Accepted Entries are: Photography, Traditional and Digital Art (No AI)
Entries must be NEW starting November 25, 2025 ~ All Entries should be submitted by the end of
December 18th DA time, which is the Pacific Time Zone
Voting by the Judges Begins on December 19th
A Holiday can be any Holiday in December
One Submission per Account (Entries go into the Home for the Holidays Contest Folder at @DevNews )
There will be Five (5) Winners of Equal Standing based on the Judges' Decisions

Home for the Holidays Challenge
Here's my entry:
It’s an interpretation of the coziest part of being home: settling down next to a warm, crackling fire on a chilly December day. The scene is set with a brightly lit fireplace, adorned with a classic holiday wreath and three stockings, waiting to be filled.
To the left, a sleeping kitten curls up next to a festive vase of giant candy canes, perfectly content in the warmth. To the right, the holiday spirit is in full swing with a cheerful Christmas tree sparkling with ornaments and topped with a bright star. Underneath the branches are colorful presents and a large, plush teddy bear, ready for a joyful morning.
Everything is in place for a perfect, peaceful holiday at home.
