Born in 1979, as a kid I had a strong interest and vivid fascination for all things visual. The world in my mind, was a beautiful place. I always liked to draw, but my grandfather saw it as a useless endeavour and that kind of stuck with me for a long time. Fascinated with the natural world, I've studies biology at the Univerisity of Groningen in the north of the Netherlands. It was great.
Science, beer and women were at the forefront of my thoughts. But about a year ago, drawing crept back to the fore. I started painting. Rediscovering an old friend.

So now, I'm back on track, and want to become a better visual artist, both traditional and recently, digital.
