"Waffle House 1993"

One memory of my time with James was our visits to restaurants, we ate out a lot and Waffle House was one of those restaurants, in fact it was James who introduced me to that restaurant and it was James who taught me the WH lingo such as how to order my hash browns "scattered". No matter where we ate James never touched a bite of his food without first bowing his head and giving thanks.

This picture represents one particular meal at the WH when the waitress, having seen us praying came over and remarked that she thought it was nice to see young men "saying the blessing".

James asked "Are you a Christian?"

He was bold like that and never afraid or ashamed.
