Alexandra's Daydream Too

in 2017, just about the time I started drawing again after a decades long layoff from it I did the first incarnation of this idea. A year or so later I decided with my, somewhat better honed skills to try and improve that drawing a bit. Recently I determined to give this concept a complete overhaul and I mean overhaul. the original 2017 drawing was all done on one piece of paper, all these characters and their surroundings crammed into it's borders. The above drawing is not just one but several, each character and the background all drawn on individual sheets of paper, scanned into my PC, colored individually and then placed, one by one onto the stage. Took me part of yesterday and nearly all of today but here it is, not quite perfect because I had to reduce the size somewhat because, for whatever reason I don't know, the Gimp program I was using wouldn't let me add the final character. I have to say it's not bad for six years later.
