[Rexalia] A Day In Love
The day was young, the daylight just beginning to rise, and Elsie was already in the city of Atlas. Unsurprisingly the streets were already awake, with rexal merchants, workers, and even some travelers and tourists from further away in the dome - all roaming around. Hopping to and fro from one front paw to the other, the famine colored young lady kept craning their head around trying to catch a glimpse of that cavern colored fur, knowing her that her newest courtship partner would be coming sometime soon. Of course, she was a bit early, but thankfully she did not have to wait because she felt like she would vibrate out of her fur! This was so exciting! Siderius, the partner for this particular courtship, arrived not too much later than Elsie. He dipped his head to the smaller, cocking his head to the side in amusement. “You look excited and ready to start the day.” Immediately he received a blasting shout, causing him to recoil and the other to blush as she caused some others passing

Ambros was happy to see Lemo the next day, the larger rex snapping his maw at the younger and smaller armored, laughing at the other as they bounced around him. Or, bounced as well as they could due to their shoulder still aching a bit. A clearing of the throat startled both of them, Lemo surprisingly - or maybe not so much - standing in front of Ambros, who had hunched down to try to appear smaller. Growling at Sidarius, who had been the one to disturb their playing, he huffed and stomped his good shoulder foot a couple of times. “Not cool, man, not cool at all.” Sidarius only raised an eyebrow, in work mode already. He huffed and gestured with his tail towards the sky. The daylight will only last for so long, we need to get going.” Ambros nodded, and pat the youngest rex on the head, then started on after the eldest who had started making his way towards the path the two and Sela had taken on the scouting before, though instantly stopped as Lemo shouted out to an approaching rex

The current deep down, below the surface, was quite hard to navigate, Ambros found out, as he exited the Dome. Sidarius was behind Ambros, helping guide the larger rex - making suggestions on how to harness his magic to glide through the tight pressure the waters presented that day. Given that Ambros only used his magic two times so far to try and brave the waters and both times had been easier than usual, the armored rexal was very thankful to the furred male. Meanwhile, Sela was chiding his son, Lemo, to take it easier today. The bright green rex adolescent was huffing, already having been out and about before the deep dive time was set to go out. Unfortunately, this meant that his energy reserve was low, therefore his father wanted to make sure his child wouldn’t wear himself out, what with his shoulder having acted up after the aforementioned play he had been doing with some other youths. As the four males started their journey to the trench, Sidarius side eyed Ambros, and asked

Waking up early, Ambros yawned and headed straight away towards the meeting place for today’s adventure. He was a bit anxious to meet even more new rexals, but, it was all about the journey - wasn’t it. Getting to the agreed upon spot, he sat down and waited, and waited, and kept on waiting. Looking around, then up, Ambros cursed at himself, before sighing. Yes, he had gotten up early, but he had been a bit too tired to check what time or around it had been, and therefore, he had arrived an hour or so earlier than it had been decided upon. Well, what could be done now, if he headed back, it would just be to go home, then turn around and come back instantly. Settling down, Ambros decided to take a nap, hoping to wake up in time before anyone arrived. A sleeping lump of scaled rexal was all that was found, when Hekate and Koli arrived on scene, with Koli’s deer companion ambling along behind. The deer instantly took to sniffing Ambros’ large form, knowing instinctively that he was a

The Sun was dipping down in the west, its glow dimming as the sister ball of light began to ascend in the east. There were little clouds out that night, and Agrippa had her head tilted upwards, towards the stars she knew were there, though tension would be seen throughout her muscles, and in the skin around her eyes. It was looking to be a pretty night, a perfect one for a courtship. At least, one would think that if they were looking forward to it. While Lassie logically understood what mood courtships should have, she was not in the right mindset at all. Of course, ever since she left the dome and came to this island, she didn’t quite have many of them, especially since most scoffed at her blind eyes. And that right there, was not something she would abide by. She had pride, and she had knowledge she was worth it, and therefore she took no nonsense or bullying. She survived out here, and it was rougher than living in a dome that provided food, hunting grounds that were safe. Family

After resting for a bit - leaving the deep diving adventure behind them, though not without the inspiration from the findings that had been done - Sela and Ambros waited for their next adventure. Scouting was to be done, and with it, a new rexal to meet. At least that was all Ambros knew, for though he was an adult he had been quite the recluse from childhood to young adult. Now as an adult himself, the pink armored male was socially exhausted, yet he was happy. A happy he didn’t know existed, which was quite nice. The clearing of a throat caused the two armored ones to look up, meeting the steady gaze of a darker blue colored rexal. Though furred and smaller than Ambros, who was quite large though a tad shorter than Sela himself, this male had an aura with such a commanding presence, Ambros couldn’t help bu square his shoulders, raise his head, and stand almost like a soldier in line with a sergeant or commander ready to direct the ranks. Sela himself huffed a laugh, and nodded in

Today was the next diving trip, and Ambros was quite excited. He and Ka’knak would be traveling along with Sélakhos - who went by Sela most of the time. The larger armored rex was much more experienced in diving than the other slightly smaller armored rex and the green furred rex as well. Having an experienced diver on the team was very helpful, and Ambros was happy it was also someone who might not make conversation the whole way, as he was finding out Sela was quite the quiet one, a gentle giant one would say. Ka’knak was her usual self, as the trio set forth from the dome for a closer location than than first trip the two smaller rexals had taken the other day. There was little to talk about, as they traveled to the Posian trench once again, though that didn’t stop the female rex from engaging in conversation with who knows what, small snippets being able to be heard clearly. A group of four rexals swam towards the Posian trench, as the dome grew smaller behind them. The one in front of the rexals was Kneeven, whose dark coat was almost invisible in the depths, had not their magic color been yellow. Their magic glowed dim yellow, though bright enough to follow with the eyes, though they were going at a steady and slightly slow pace. Ambros himself, was having a bit of a problem following that as he was at the back, but he just followed K’aknak and Lemo, the other two in the possy going deep diving. Lemo himself was vigorously trying to keep up with the older K’aknak, who was chattering on about who knows what, their words almost inaudible and mangled, with how mumbled they were. With his shoulder injury making swimming very difficult, he just was using his magic to swim by drawing and moving the current around himself, pushing and pulling to cause himself to go forwards. Once they reached the trench, they all took some time to refresh their own magic and
