Early spring view by Wanderlouve Early spring view by Wanderlouve
Made couple days ago in Konin (Greater Poland, Poland). This lake's name is Zatorze.
On this place there were once other lake named Niesłusz, but in the years 1949-1961 it has been dried, because someone discovered lots of lignite underneath. They turned that lake into open pit mine and get out 4 milion tons of lignit in total. The current lake is similiar in size to the original (18,5 ha) and you can find there lots of birds (they were very loud when I was there :D )and fishes like pikes and catfish.

It shines like a beacon, so beautifully...and it's nice to read the story too, with glorious nature.
I love the same things as you do, such as the birds and nature's lovely impressions.

Wow this is absolutely beautiful! Is there often a lot of wild life there? Because I like the angle of that chunk of land in the center, and it seems like where they'd live if there ish any!

This is the little island and I can call it as bird-island 'cause you can see there tons of wild birds of many many different kinds. I have red somewhere that also underwater life there is very intense and interesting. And thank You! :D
