FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I can't think of a cool title for this picture l:C
Man so like, I was at my friend's house and I have never watched Steven Universe, had only heard about it, and when the show was brought up we totally marathoned it and I LOVE IT!!!!
OH MY GOOSSHH!!! BOY CAN I JUST GUUUSSHHH about this show!!!! SOOO amazing!!!! Now hahahahah lol oh man! FREAK! I'll do my best to keep it all in hahah so I don't have ths giant wall of text on the Artist description hahaha.
So even though Pearl is not my favorite character (I still like her a lot, she grows on you. Plus her voice!!! <3) or whatever, I do really like her character design a lot. I drew a little sketch of Steven too but I didn't like ho it came out *_*; But like here's the thing, There's so many different ethnicities and body types in this show, that drawing the characters from in it is incredible practice for someone such as me who basically has a focused scope on only a few body types with how I draw... which is bad, I need to widen that scope. Though Pear's figure is probably the closest to my comfort zone, her body is definitely new to my tastes and is super skinny and taalllll ad longggg and lanky. This was my first try with her and, idk, I personally am really happy with how she came out. She was a lot of fun to draw. She was only going to be a sketch but lol heh I guess I had a little too much fun.
This show also needs more love! I understand why there isn't a ton of little kids freaking out about it because there's a lot of mature emotional things in the how which little kids don't exactly understand sometimes, but to someone is a little older and likes good indepth characters (the story has potential, just hasn't gotten there yet) Well it's amazing. All the characters are different and unique and none of the are surface level characters. like there's acual depth to their personalities in the show. it's freaking brilliant!

All I wanna see is Steven fusing with Pearl to make Rainbow Quartz again. And, Rainbow Quartz's weapon would be an parasol, as parasols protect from the sun and the rain, which create rainbows, which is what the rainbow quartz gemstone is named after.
