Gold Flecks

SSoooo I don't know who this is but I made her up XD I felt like drawing and I kinda had  a costume idea in mind, kinda like a male Victorian outfit kinda feel? but with feminine features to it to fit the girl. I'm not really sure, but .. yeah idk but I like the outfit lol so yeah! That's what is important right? So originally when I started drawing her I had more of a Dragon lady in mind, but when I started coloring the sketch It more just kinda turned into a Demon looking lady instead. so she's a demon I suppose haha, again I'm not really sure. kinda saw something in my head and it kinda made itself as I drew, which is always the best because you kind of discover it alone the way and it's fun to see it because then even the artist gets surprised sometimes. Like I was going to put her in brown and purple and gold, but ... idk it just.. looked like poop, and when I took the color away making it white because of the uncolored background I thought it looked better but White didn't quite fit her character to me so I tried black and it came out awesome, and then the blue kinda put itself there and looked SO much better! I really like this person though, I might draw her again or something, idk we'll see.

So I don't have too much to say on this other than the fact that it is SURE NICE to maaann.... draw.. like.. my own stuff right? Whether it's a character I've previously came up with or just a person I drew out of no where. Also I like NEVER draw pictures of this type, where it's more of a like cropped shot of the character? I mean anyone in my gallery, especially in my digital paintings, can tell at it's normally always a full body shot with some background, not ever something like this with the exception of a few pictures here and there.  

And oh! That's another thing! I did, try out a new brush on this one, and if you click he picture and zoom up you can probably tell/see that I didn't use the average air brush tool with this, but some kind of "natural brush" under my default brushes, and it was fun because it kinda gave it a more tradional look sorta? which I really like so I might keep using it, as well as the  chalk brush because I still adore that thing!

This took me about 15 hours because I was slow with it and put a lot of little details in her suit, and that's not too long for me really, so I might make more of these types of close up character shots maybe more often. again we'll see. but yeah I hope you like her. :>
