Stay on the trail

Remember guys, it's easy to lost in the woods. 

A little detailed illustration of my dear Hugo, just to make sure some stuffs about perspective. I often use horses as pose references for him and it works out great. I also trying to practice coloring. I used a color palette for this one, something pinetrees related to get the atmosphere of a dark forest.
I feel ashamed as I would use the classic green-brown-grey scheme by myself when it comes to a forest with some rocks. I know that the real thing is something between this too, but I have to experience some more colors :V Hopefully I'll find out soon what's the best for these pictures.
