Searching For The Al-Qadr

Alhamdulillah.... Finally, it's completed...

Thanks God for giving me the strength and idea to complete this artwork.. I've spent almost five days for this piece of art.. and almost drive me insane in some point, hehe

This picture really means so much for me as it reflects myself who always love to sit down under the vibrant starlight while thinking how great is our creator and how blessed we are to be created by Him... Alhamdulillah ~

For me, the hardest part during the painting process would be the milky way part. I have to scroll so many milky way pictures with google.com in order to get the clear image of it. Not to mention the thousand stars that I have to draw along with it. Drawing and painting a landscape would simply be a very insane task but the satisfaction that I got after it has finally been completed is truly priceless...

This picture is actually made for Ramadhan. The personae in this picture spent his last days of Ramadhan with searching for the laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Measures. While he was still on his way to the mosque, the majestic view on the sky quickly captured his attention, making him stand in awe.. Tiny whisper of 'subhanallah' faintly heard from his mouth and with a sudden flow of tears, he smiled "Allahuakbar" ~
