indeed stubbs is very good in animal and gosh in brush stroke, what I mean is Vermeer painting has the skill to capture the light and put it in to his painting, like on one of my favorite painting "the astronomer" the way he capture the light is astounding only from the shadow that he make:o (Eek)
that the reason I really love his painting.Nod
and yes those three is really awesome painting, Kingkostas is one of game character designer, Randis is the first winner of wacom contest 2009, and warrenlow is a dc painterCURSE YOU!

yeah "time" that one reason why I always stay awake at night :D

I know you can:happybounce:
plus you have that awesome  art line skill so I believe that you can do much better   La la la la

yeah Rembrandt is awesome but for me when talk about master of light I think Vermeer, his painting is stunning, he paint like we paint on cs (well it mean in psp to you :D )
I starting to painting again went I was browsing on net and stumble upon Istebrak painting there I start to painting again but back then randis and WarrenLouw that I used to follow, their are totally wicked even their doodling seem like painting to me

oh I see ... well light might pop up your your drawing, a matter a fact because this light study thingy brought my interest to physic :P

oh ok just said if you feel like it :)

oh I see...

no mention it, At first I'm a bit reluctant, but then you said "masks are not my choice of work and I'm not confident with them:) (Smile)
but I know they are very useful tool"
that make me to explain it to you... and the reason is that my answer to kingkostas  when he try to teach me about value and light back and I was to stubborn to understand... and it took me six years finally realize and understand what he said... I just don't want you end up like me that all, well at least on this drawing business

me too I still working on that anatomy stuff, specially about that golden ratio stuff
that come to face too, 3d? what do you mean by 3D do you mean perspective? well honestly I'm suck with that
but I remember went one of my friend said that those about perspective "i
t is all about light"

oh yeah time for you to sleep right? good night have a pleasant dream Hug

try this... open your Photoshop... I'm not quiet sure if it has same apply on psp but so..
anyway once you make or start new drawing... you starting with white layer right?
then open the layer tab, then go to "new fill layer" choose what ever that suit you
then go to image > adjustments> choose invert or simply buy push "Ctrl+I"
your page its will white again
then start your drawing ( you 'll see at the layer tab that there have two thumbnail, one is the color that you choose, and other, is black with white drawing that you had draw...
(hmm.. somehow listening to Bolero by Maurice Ravel it took my imagination to Sahara desert while riding a camel... aah...anyway)
after you finish your line, then create another " new fill layer" under it ( under you first drawing layer) fill it with color that you want to go with in that object that you drawn before connected by chain
then repeat the process again invert it than apply that color to your drawing
after you done make a new layer again but now go to "new layer adjustments" choose levels then move that arrow to make darker your image if you want to adding shadow in your object make brighter if you want to make highlight, then  go to layer tab right click on it and choose "create clipping mask" if you do right you should see and arrow point down which that mean that everything that you going to put on that new layer its going to stay on the same area layer below it... by applying this kind of method you can applying your light into your object

go try it..
that at least what I know how to done, and once I finally understandCURSE YOU! , everything seem a bit quiet easy to me somehow:happybounce: ... at least not about anatomy tho.. that subject its mind crushing Waaaah!
