The imprecise nature of anodizing is what gives niobium its variety and character. Harnessing this variety to make subtle but vivid color gradients makes for beautiful jewelry. This is one of my favorite designs.

These are really gorgeous. How much would one cost? I'm looking for a Christmas present for my friend and I know he'd love one. ^_^

they are $13 per inch, and actually I'm about to launch my new website. From there you can choose size & color and I'll have a full shopping cart system in place. Keep an eye out for it in the next day or two (maybe 3 if the credit card processing has any bugs)

Thanks!

*excited because I know how to make the byzantine!*

the colors are a nice touch - where do you get your rings from?

though the picture itself isn't quite in focus for me :(

it's in focus, but it's such an extreme close up that only a small part of the large chain is clear. It took a lot of frustration before I figured that out! I make my own rings btw.

I am officially jealous of your anodizer....

I like the colors very much as well. Would be interesting to see this look in other metals as well.
:)

Actually they are adapted from copper alloy bracelets I have been making for a while. Some metals, like copper & silver, bronze & steel, and nickel silver & yellow brass look fantastic together! Some day when I get more time I'll upload them
