Okay, let me make this very clear to everyone here and those that submit on a daily basis. Please, when you submit any art make sure the size/dimension are accommodating for the end users monitor. For example, if it's a 16:9 aspect ratio display consideration for sizes within that ratio must be respected. 16:9 will be 3840x2160, 2560x1440, 2048x1152, 1920x1080, 1600x900 and 1366x768. The same goes for 16:10 and 4:3 and so forth.
This is not the 1980's! I see users submitting obscure resolutions that If I wanted to use myself... Well, the practically of its application goes out the door. Yes, Windows will resize these suppose walls to fit the screen by stretching and killing the art. Most of the times I find it extremely annoying cause the art is fantastic but it's square in dimension. Last time I checked there weren't manufacturing boat loads of TUBE BOXES.
Also, if you are making art for others to use on their phones, do a little research before submitting the work. Yes, am aware the plethora of phone resolutions out there but similar aspect ratios are common place today.
So, from now on if I see anything that doesn't have a proper display dimension, I will can it on the spot. No exceptions. Am sure the vast majority of you are creating art on known display dimensions.
Lastly, my job here is to make sure those that download are getting a proper size for their monitors.
Now, have fun creating and above all stay safe.
