Hi there!
My name is Victoria, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California (but live elsewhere now).
I first became interested in computer graphics some time circa 1995 when my dad gave me this CD package of some new, up-and-coming computer software which included Aldus Photostyler and KAI PowerTools. I went home that day and created some silly little piece with a pair of eyes floating above an ocean with a caption reading "Thinking of You." After that I was totally hooked. Then somewhere around 2000, a friend introduced me to Photoshop. It was love at first sight, and since then I have been painstakingly teaching myself all things Photoshop. About two years ago I came across an ad in one of my Photoshop magazines (Advanced Photoshop, I think?) for DAZ Studio. I had always been a little intimidated by 3D graphics, thinking it was way too hard to do, but I decided to give it a shot anyways (what the hell . . . it was free, right?). Now I'm equally obsessed with 3D graphics as well.
My art is a mixture of DAZ, Poser, Photoshop, Postwork Shop and FilterForge, and I also do black & white digital photography on the side. I'm currently working on expanding my knowledge of ZBrush.
I think my ultimate goal with my graphics - what I really hope to get out of all of this - is to create something truly beautiful one day that either someone will deeply appreciate in their heart or that will inspire someone to create something even more beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by . . . and happy rendering!
V.
