It's been years since I've added a journal entry. Mostly I want to do this just to change what's on the front page. As of summer 2011 I've gone back to school, attending classes at Mt. Hood Community College. Things have changed and I have a new lease and a positive outlook on life. The only one responsible for me is myself. When it comes right down to it, I haven't been this happy in a long, long time. Here's looking forward to a better tomorrow.

It's been a long time since I've updated this. I do kind of keep an eye on things here. It's just that life has been one big shithole after another and I have no inspiration to actually do anything here. Pretty much all my recent pain and torment can be found on my Live Journal pages, if you dare read about it.

Dipshit award: a rant on ice cream boxes

It seems like a silly subject, but it's something I feel the need to rant about. It has to do with the half-gallon boxes of ice cream sold in pretty much any grocery store or the like in the USA (if not other countries). They used to have the perfect design. There was a slip-lock top that made them easy to open and close. One would think that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Apparently the design was too perfect, and someone somewhere decided that it needed to be screwed over to annoy people like me who regularly buy half-gallon boxes of ice cream. Now they've moved the opening to the side of the box. The fucking side! And they
