This extraordinary statue is on display at the British Museum. It was originally discovered smashed into numerous pieces at the Temple of Apollo at Cyrene in modern Libya. After restoration, the true magnificence of this piece was revealed and it stands at 2.29 meters high. The raised arm is sadly missing and would have made it even more imposing.
