Nickname; Ennie

Age; 35
    Zodiac; The Winged Serpent
Noticeable Zodiac Traits; Rynn is prone to being frivolous and emotional, two of the serpent's underlying traits. On the surface she could be said to be whimsical, noticeable in her devout worship for Alya and the pegasi, and charming around others, aiding her work as a Bard.

Sexual Orientation; Asexual

FAMILIAR
- South China Tiger
- Saltwater Crocodile
- Serow (Taiwanese?)

All act in a symbiotic relationship, the tiger the most cunning, the crocodile the most patient, and the serow the most wary.

FAMILY // RELATIONSHIPS

Mother's Name; Ana [Ahn-ah]
    Mother's Faction; Vagabond
Ana was described to be a pretty palomino mare, common pony, and heavily devout towards Alya, from whom she felt she hailed. Ana was born in a small vagabond band in the desert, and migrated with them into the sparse forests outside of Sedo. There she met her husband and left the migratory band to settle and move about with her mate.

Father's Name; Walter
    Father's Faction; Vagabond
Walter was a dark bay stallion with a crisply shaved black horn. He was devout towards both Kaia and Alya, though he respected all of the gods. He was set free by a band of Vindicators and then traveled with them farther south in Eithne. He then crossed into Sirith and traversed the continent over the years, gaining scars and wisdom from his travels. He settled near Sedo with his wife to start a family.

Brothers' Names; Ezekiel, Simon, Romand
    Brothers' Faction; Vagabond, Vagabond, Serora
{See Potential NPC sheets when available}

See Heart Chart when available for a breakdown of character relationships.

RELIGION // IDEOLOGY
Patron God; Alya
Rynn obsesses over the winged god. She often seems a tad crazed over her reverence for the god and her patron species, the pegasi, and often it puts others off. Rynn will always pray to Alya when she is in doubt or simply alone, and the mare believes that her place as a story-teller is to spread the word of Alya's grace and beauty, alongside the god's power. Rynn will always consider a pegasus to be like the child of a god, and she will always refer to them with respect and love.
        Secondary Patron; Kaia
        Tertiary Patron; Argus
        Quaternary Patron; Ignacio

PERSONALITY
- Judgmental  - Nervous  - Fickle  - Selfish  //  + Motherly  + Gracious  + Devout  + Helpful

Rynn judges quickly and her initial judgments do not often change. Rynn decides in the heat of the moment who is worth her time and respect and who is not. She takes quick note of the species of the horse and then of their appearance. This makes it hard for her to take horses whom she peg negatively seriously and often puts her and any traveling with her in danger. She is not above finding the weakest link in a group and filing away the information for when it is necessary. See, Wandering Stars, when Rynn easily took off alone, helping those that she assumed would be able to make it. Though Cassidy's death would affect her, the mare is infinitely happier that it is not she that was gutted that night. Rynn is selfish, and she knows it. She'd much rather protect herself than anyone else, the only exception being her internal urge to always jump to a pegasi's aide over her own. Rynn is naturally fairly nervous, though she internalized a lot of the signs. Seeing as she's been dealt with roughly the past year or so, the mare is much more accustomed to being on her toes now, and is attempting to travel out of Onean lands and back towards Serora and Sedo. She's often praying and to those around her it seems she prays out of fear of violence, often looking at situations with a paranoid and pessimistic point of view. Lastly, Rynn could be described as fickle, she often changes her mind or begins to lose faith in decisions she's made but cannot reverse. Rynn doubts herself and those around her often. She is prone to decide one thing and then do something completely different last second, often causing even more of a commotion.

Rynn also displays many formidable positive traits to her. She is naturally motherly, so when not being threatened directly, she will often take others under her "wings". She's partial to children and other mares and plays a more dominant reassuring personality around them. It's harder for her to fall apart under pressure when she has others with her aiding to make decisions to help the group, but she doesn't actively seek company. Rynn is outwardly gracious to those she meets regardless of their herd, but reserves her personal feelings internally. She is quick to offer help if she notices she can benefit from it, such as pooling coin to buy mercenaries for protection, see No Safe Haven, but if she can't she'd rather strike off on her own. If it is merely something like giving direction or offering company for a few miles or so, the mare would easily welcome a traveling partner or tell a horse what she knew. She uses her stories to warn horses of bad experiences she's had in her travels as well as to offer additional advice. Lastly, Rynn is extremely devout and respectful of all of the gods, specifically Alya and any followers of Alya. Rynn chooses to tell spiritual tales and to pray for safe travels often. Rynn is especially trustful of her gods and is sure to do whatever she can to avoid angering them. She bears a hatred for the cultists not only for their blood lusting ways but also because of their cult-following of an idol god.

HISTORY
Rynn was born a twin, which curious as it was, proved difficult on her already somewhat large family. Her elder brothers, both twins themselves, Ezekiel and Simon, were rambunctious and often rough-housed with their younger brother and sister. Being the only girl in the family besides her mother, she was somewhat of an oddity and a celebrity among her brothers. Ramond, her twin, sicklier and gaunter than she, was quickly pushed to the side by their older brothers as Rynn proved herself to rule over the little family. She was playful, but she was mean in a way the brothers weren't quite used. She tattled often when fights got too rough and she avoided taking the blame for anything she did wrong, thinking it amusing when her brothers got in trouble rather than she. Quickly, the relationship she had with her brothers soured, as one would in such a case. Their fights became ever rougher and their words even more barbed. Rynn, confused of the change, would merely play along and in doing so, her brothers grew to loathe her even more. It was Ramond who finally expressed his discontent to the other brothers, stating that she should be chased away, or simply left behind during one of their games. The boys suggested a game of hide and seek, and rather than stay in the small meadow they often played in, the older brothers led the two younger twins out of their comfort zone. While nervous, Rynn had agreed to play and assumed that when they were finished they'd be able to all go home and she'd slowly learnt he route for any other time they wished to play out here in the sandy grass outside the little forest she'd grown up in.

She ran off quickly, finding a dead tree to hide beside, and waited. Her brothers shrieked and shouted for a while before everything when quiet, their giggles disappearing from the dusk air. She continued to wait, and nodded off, deaf to her father and mother's calling of her name. Come morning Rynn attempted to find her way back using the scents of her brothers and the like, but eventually lost their traces and found herself in the unfamiliarity of the forest yet again. She would travel about, and then eventually into the desert. She fell prey quickly to quicksand, but once exhausted, before passing out yet again, she noticed the figure of another come to save her, their wings easily visible. She quietly thanked Alya and then dazed off, hazy from exhaustion and heat. When she came to, she was alone, the thick mud still coating her coat and providing a protective layer from the sun. Rynn proceeded to travel about the desert, slowly becoming used to living on her own. She met a bard traveling there and followed him for a short time, listening to what he had to teach her and the stories he told. She gradually adopted them as her own, changing little facts to make them appear even more mystical, and struck off alone again.

Rynn stayed a few more years collecting stories from Serora before moving up out of Sedo and up Sirith towards Eithne and Onea. She would travel for several months, stopping often to share her tales and rest. By the time she reached Onea, she was frightfully ill-timed. The mare survived her first Cultist run in by banding with another mare and, once they were being pursued, leaping of the trail and into a heavily wooded area. The mare was able to hide, though she is not sure if her partner was as lucky. She travelled along a few more months before returning to Eithne, gathering more tales, sharing more. Later in her life she would return to Onea, again at a time she shouldn't have. This time she banded with a larger group. Again, the night ended in blood, though this time Rynn witnessed it. She immortalizes her fright on the night and uses the story to warn others of the dangers of the Cultists (Wandering Stars). On her return journey, as she began making her way back to the southern tip of Hireath, more than ready to return to Alya and Sedo, she banded together again. This time, her group faced the perils of Ursa Majors and again, Rynn gained more scars to her coat (No Safe Haven). Finally out of Onea, Rynn recently witnessed the reincarnation of a kirin, she did not stay long at the scene, resting before striking off alone again, leaving the kirin and any in the group that wished to, to stay behind and aide them. Rynn was set on returning to her home in the desert (Witness to Fate).

Rynn is currently located in Sirith and traveling towards Sedo. Note: She did not possess wings prior Chapter V.

New It is a blessing to have the favor of the gods. A most welcome gift bestowed. A dream became reality.
