Description

I'm a medieval Christian (Pre schismatic ) holding the Catholic and Orthodox churches in equal validity and standing. Raised Catholic though never following Vatican II changes, I am more akin to the church of the 11th Century. I do practice Christian mysticism (see below) and have never, in my whole life ever doubted my faith. For this God has blessed me with a great marriage, talent and wealth.

The East–West Schism, also known as the Great Schism or Schism of 1054, was the ongoing break of communion between the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches since 1054.

A series of ecclesiastical differences and theological disputes between the Greek East and Latin West preceded the formal split that occurred in 1054.

Christian mysticism is the tradition of mystical practices and mystical theology within Christianity which "concerns the preparation [of the person] for, the consciousness of, and the effect of a direct and transformative presence of God" or Divine love.

Until the sixth century the practice of what is now called mysticism was referred to by the term contemplatio, c.q. theoria, from contemplatio (Latin; Greek θεωρία, theoria), "looking at", "gazing at", "being aware of" God or the Divine. Christianity took up the use of both the Greek (theoria) and Latin (contemplatio, contemplation) terminology to describe various forms of prayer and the process of coming to know God.

Contemplative practices range from simple prayerful meditation of Holy Scripture (i.e. Lectio Divina) to contemplation on the presence of God, resulting in Theosis (spiritual union with God) and ecstatic visions of the soul's mystical union with God. Three stages are discerned in contemplative practice, namely catharsis (purification), contemplation proper, and the vision of God.

Contemplative practices have a prominent place in the Eastern Orthodoxy and Oriental Orthodoxy, and have gained a renewed interest in western Christianity. Including the Catholic Church.

The home alter has over 50 relics including stones of the Archangel Michael and my relic of the Crown of Thorns worn by our Lord. It's sitting on my replica Spear of Destiny (now a third class relic itself) as the Crown of Thorns fragment is a 1st class relic. 1st Class Relic consists of a part of the Saint, such as a bone, hair, etc..., and the instruments of Christ's Passion.
My home chapel is stocked with Holy water, both Papal (made by popes John Paul and Benedict) and the Orthodox church, holy oil, blessed salt, blessed candles, anointing oil and Holy incense.

Yes some of you are thinking his art is based on Horror and Cthulhu with NSFW elements...yes they are. Art is a blessing regardless how it's used, we are all sinners and expressing and confessing these things are part of life. I'm not preaching just sharing a part of myself that makes me.....me.
