13th Century sewn on Cross

90+% accurate to the original (it's Pewter not lead). It was extremely hard to carve the soapstone mold, as it's so small. it's a 13th century cross with Christ dressed as...no surprise a 13th century king. I've replicated the odd lettering but like many pilgrims badges of the era, the illiterate sculptors drew letters wrong backwards or nonsensical. Regardless I copied it.

It looks golden because my aging chemical became contaminated and turned the piece golden....if only I could discover what the chemical mix was so I could replicate it again.

The cross is meant to be sewn to clothing or a hat, I prefer adding them to hats as they will get banged up in the wash and might lose the finish.
