Sonic awoke to find himself in Metal Volt's hidden base underneath the kingdom. Dr. CS: "He's awake!" Metal Volt: "Oh thank god, you're alright." Sonic: "What makes you think I wouldn't survive through that...?" Metal Volt: "Haha, but you know... being a hero has taught me a valuable lesson, I thought the rebels were allies with the Chaos Council, but all along they were my best friends. The surge of emotion has shot through me when I saved your life back in shatterspace has taught me a even more bigger valuable lesson... where my wife Lana lives in my brain." Announcer: "User Iron Voltage deleted." Metal Volt: "Goodbye, Iron Voltage. You know, deleting Iron Voltage just now just taught me a most valuable lesson. The best solution to a problem is usually the easiest one and I'll be honest journeying with you throughout shatter space is hard." Sonic: "Well, things will be more better now with the Chaos Council out of the way, come join us we can now work on convincing Nine there is still hope for him." Metal Volt: "I wish I could join you, but..." *Shows the screen* "I must stay and help the resistance bring back peace to our homes." Sonic: "I see..." Metal Volt: "I have been in shut down sequence for a long time because of Dr. CS, but now... we worked things out. So, we're friends again or she was Jade back then... I have her put in charge on helping bringing hope and keep watch of the chaos council after they betrayed her." Sonic: "Cool, so I guess this is it, huh?" Metal Volt: "Yes, but don't worry. I'll always remember you within my brain, Sonic the hedgehog, our blue hedgehog hero. Just go." The door opens behind Sonic for his exit to leave. Metal Volt: *Chuckles* "It's been fun, hope we meet again." Volt: "At least you still have me, Sonic." Sonic: "Yeah, but I still feel bad for Metal Volt who has to go through all this trouble to help rebuild." Volt: "That's his choice now, he's made friends with Dr. CS now and he will be happy to help her whenever there's need of." Sonic: "Right, come on. Let's go."

Uhh... by the way, I wonder how Iron Voltage is doing in the eternity of darkness?
