This is a photograph I took after dark a few years ago. It's shot from atop the Montgomery Waller Community Park in Chula Vista, facing southward, to Mexico. I used a slow shutter speed, to capture the colors of the light, and it resulted in that nice blur of the cars passing by.
The foreground shows the intersection of Beyer Blvd. and Coronado Ave., and is not far from where I live. The foreground shows the Mexican city of Tijuana (mostly at left of the frame). You can also see the huge lights illuminating the border, to prevent people from crossing.
And then, the clouds above without a care.

Wow! I'm not a photgrapher, but that's a cool photo! I like how the lights stand out against the black.

Thanks a lot! Sometimes, by accident, I create a photograph that I really like.
And, by a larger accident, I create a photo that some one else likes. :)

Awesome photo! What kind of camera did you use? Is it possible to do something like this with a Canon PowerShot S3IS? I'm new to photography and I was just wondering.
