I can feel the coldness of the wind
Through the wooden frame of this window
And it freezes my heart bitterly, slowly.
How distance can make a lover wait
So impatiently, so eagerly.

I can hear the words in the wind
How they come knocking on my window
Trying to deliver their message, slowly.
Your love how I no longer can wait
To be in your arms, impatiently, and so eagerly.
