AHH finnaly got my scanner fixed! Well... realy it was fixed the whole time. Its just the button that broke so I have to do it all maualy now. Geez How could I have been so stupid?
As most of my fellow watchers will notice, this is another concept design of the Colonial Protectorate from my Peace Keepers story. This is thier second design and I worked prety hard on it. It looks similar to the old design but more armored and star trooper looking. I would like you guys to compare the new design with the old one and see which one you like better. Eiether way I will be keeping the old design but ile take the helmit off and add more equipment to make them look more army like. Why? Because my friends at school simply like the old design better. I like it too but I personaly think its better to explore my options rather then declare an official design from the start.

Really nice job, I like how you can see the clothing underneath the armor.

Well that clothing isnt realy clothing but a form of futuristic material called fiber plastic, its also supose to be part of the suit.

Ah I see, it looks like clothing the way it's rippled.

Thanks ~Vladimiravich and ~AngerOfSouls for the discussion on weapons. Not too many people discuss the different parts of guns and what impressions viewers get from them.

Have megs of reference pictures of weapons but it helps to understand why they made the guns the way they did. Physics is a factor but I am more interested in the fiddley bits that make one gun look cooler or more badass than another.

The character looks great.

Hrmmm... The design seems to want more armor, with most armor designs I'm thinking of currently, I want to avoid too much "revealing" unarmored parts.

Add some Fireres cloth... or some segmented plates... Study knight armors!

Whats Fireres cloth? And I found a book in the library on knight armors so ile got that covered.

I don't really know what to think about this one. Your legs for humans always seem, to me, to be too long. It makes them look really weak and scrawny. Bulkier armor can always fix that. I'm not the biggest fan of your weapons either they seem to only use buttons which, even if that is how they work, makes them seem weaker than something with a larger stock, a big clip, and not to mention a feel of power with a trigger. That's just how I like things though, I'm not saying that your more sleek and more technilogical models are bad or anything just that I prefer the bulkier and more powerful looking models.

Finnaly, some thing worth thinking about...
Lol power behind a trigger, now what is it that I am missing that makes all my guns look so skimpy? Thats the thing that always evades me. But your right thoughe, more bulkier and powerful looking guns would look better. The type of guns I chose usualy have to do with the type of story thier from, the characters personality, and the situation at hand. Currently I havnt designed any specific types of guns for my stories so I dont realy care to work very much on the design of the weapons. All i have is ideas of what they look like. Gun design comes later, for now all i care about in this is the suit. And aparantly this calls for another redesign with a few tweeks. Ile take your sugestions to mind. As for more bulkier suit designs, thats just all the more reason for use of more detail.

I can help you out with the gun design ideas. If you take a look at a normal M4A1 for instance, it doesn't look all too powerfull. But when you get into all the extra accessories that can go along with it... M203 grenade launcher on the bottom, a scope, bipods, either a retractable stock or a full stock, a suppressor, double clips. One of the major things that I think that your guns lack are clips. Also, the shapes used for your guns are very sleek and look like they just flow together. For a more powerfull effect you can have a large stock to show that it has a large recoil. The bigger a clip is the bigger the bullet must be so if you put a big clip in there then that will show that it is a high caliber gun. A scope or red dot on the top of the gun makes it look bulkier and more tactical. If you don't want to add those then you can at least put sights on the gun. If you don't have a grenade launcher or shotgun on the bottom of your gun then you can put a grip that extends farther down. Also, the barrel size can be something else to add. Something else with this gun that makes it look smaller is how instead of a handle it just has the hole in the gun to grab onto. Like I've said before a handle and trigger can add a bit of a feel of power onto the gun. If you need some ideas for different kinds of weapons to use as references or just some ideas then you can always ask me. I study guns in my spare time lol.
