There are lots of badges that you can earn. Some you win in contests and some that are given to you. Cake Badges are given to you for your birthday they cost points though. Llama badges are free and they can be given and gotten by anyone.

Points are the currency for Deviant Art. You can either have points donated to you by someone (Either publically or anonymously) or you can buy points. It costs real money to buy points: $5.00 will get you 400 points, $10.00 will get you 800 points, $25.00 will get you 2,000 points, $50.00 will get 4,000 points, and $100.00 will get 8,000 points. Points can be used to buy things or commission someone.
Groups are a list of kindred souls that you can join. You have to apply to join a group. Sometimes admission is automatic, some groups are hard to get into, and some groups can be private. There are 1,000's of groups that you can choose from. Groups are a place where you can showcase your art and get more noticed in Deviant Art. There ae groups for everything; Fan Groups (My Little Poney, Undertale, Pokemon); Landscape Groups, Photography Groups, Horror Groups (DA-Morgue) and many others.

Core Membership is really cool and you get many things that ordinary members do not: 1) you get instant notifications when some visits your page, comments about you, gives you a llama. You know right then; 2) You get to make sub-folders and ordinary members can make only folders; 3) You get no ads, and advertising is free; 4) You can become a Beta Tester and test out new products; 5) You can change your username with no hassels; 6) You get discounts onbuying prints; 7) You can set your own prices. Costs can vary: it costs $5.00 for 1 month of Core; $10.00 for 2 months; $15,00 for 3 months; $20.00 for 4 months; $25.00 for 5 months. You get it. Every year costs $50.00. Favorites - If you like an art piece, photograph, poem, or other. Always leave a comment to show your appreciation of the Deviant's work. You can make it a favorite and put it in your folder. If you like a lot of the artists work you and make a folder for his/her artworks.
Watchers - You can become a watcher of someone just go to your right top of the page and it will say watch. Click on it and you will watch someone.
Gallery - This is where you can show off your artwork. Every time you submit an artwork it goes to your gallery. You can put your Deviations into folders.
Folders - You get 250 folders to work with. Core members can create subfolders. Still, you only have 250 folders for your gallery and your favorites combined.

Watchers - This is the number of people who are watching you. A lot of people take great pride in how many watchers they have. They even run contests when they get a certain amount of watchers.

Spammers - These are people who are on Deviant Art just to advertise a product. They aren't here to show off their artwork. Be careful not to confuse Spammers with Watchers (people who are there to groove on other peoples artwork. The only thing you'll see on a spammers page are advertising. Example: Bill's Lockpicking.
Watchers - You can actually see who has become your watcher. Who is permanently watching you?
Blocking People - You can actually block people from watching you. You can only block a certain amount of people. You are allowed to block 500 people.
Writing a complaint - You can contact the help desk.

How Old Do You Have To Be To Join Deviant Art - At least 13.
Mature Content - If you draw nudes, have foul language, excessive violence, Sexual themes, or Questionable content. You must put the artwork under mature. Remember there are a lot of young people on Deviant Art and we don't want to freak them out.
Commissions - You can sell your artwork on deviant art
Correspondence - This section will tell you whether you were accepted into a group, had an artwork accepted, and other stuff.
Activity - This tells you how many people gave you llamas, how many watchers you have, and who faved your artwork.
