I liked the original names but I really love these new ideas for titles too. I feel like you're right, and it would probably draw a lot more people in, since the titles may seem confusing otherwise to new readers. ^_^ Keeping it as the Netheron Chronicles series as a group is a great idea because it also keeps true with the original names. I'd also say it could be the best of both worlds if you could somehow incorporate both into it, like "Princess of Rain: Netheron, Duchess of Tears: Drethathon, Royal of Nothing: Heneurock" or something like that, idk... But then that might also be confusing because people may think those are the names of characters and not places. You could go with "Princess of Rain: in Netheron" or ""Princess of Rain: Journey Through Netheron" or something, but then that's probably over-complicating it when a shorter name might help it stick out in people's minds more and be easier to remember. So I think your new idea is probably the best route to go, in the end. ♥

Thank you so, so much for your feedback! :tighthug: I'm always open to suggestions, and I am very thankful for your honesty, it is really appreciated. This is so helpful omg

You're definitely right in that the old titles (Drethathon, Netheron, Heneurock) had some confusion to new readers, and didn't really give a good idea for what the stories were actually about, which is one reason I've tried to remedy this with alternate titles.

That's a good idea - trying to incorporate both titles! I was thinking, if I tried to incorporate both, I could do something like: Netheron: Princess of Rain Drethathon: Duchess of Tears and Heneurock: Royal of Nothing just reversing what you've done here, but I feel too, like you've said, the best way to go about this, is to just simply have the alternate titles.

I looked this up a while back, but generally in YA titles, it's important to have it be short and consistent, matching what the book represents, and having an engaging theme, so I tried to go with a certain theme that helps connect readers to the tone of the story, as well as the setting. :D

I'm glad you and everyone else who voted for the most part, seemed to agree on the alternate titles, so I will be using them in my fiction.

That is perfect, omg yes! I love it. It fits both the old and new titles in somehow and really works, that's what I was trying to do but couldn't figure out the best way to get them both included. xD That is very true. I'm glad I'm not the only one who still looks up tips and hints for writing related stuff, btw. It's always helpful.

Omg you really think so? :la: I already went with the newer titles in the end, but if I end up changing it again, I'll let you know too XD

Thank you so much again for your help  It means a lot, truly :tighthug:

Writer tips are always helpful XD That's why I really like looking at them, even now <3

Yep. I think both are a great fit, and should work better than the old way for your intended genre. It's always up to you what to do with your work but I know it helps to get feedback sometimes. It's no problem at all. :huggle: I'm always happy to help if I can. ^^
