In order to craft a coherent level, you must first start with a rough draft. I've used many programs in the past help lay out my ideas Ideas. I had the good idea to use the same program is used to create my Pixelart, Aseprite. You can use whatever you like that you're most comfortable with. You can use pen and paper Ms paint or even Photoshop. The collision my game is broken up into units of 50 x 50 blocks. I'm able to easily translate this into Aseprite. There is an option to adjust the size of the grid and make it where the fill tool will not go outside of the cells of the grid. I do this until I've filled out all of the playing field. The Black blocks is solid ground, green blocks are ghost platforms you can jump and drop down from, and the red blocks are pitfalls. When I'm finish I add the art. ___________________________________________________________________________________ You can play a demo of the game here. http://stargazedgame.com/ Don't forgot to come chat with

I've been playing the heck out of my old PS2 recently, and now I'm having thoughts about recording some footage so I can talk and gush over my favorite games. I seriously need to upgrade my equipment however. In the meantime here's my current setup, hopefully this can help someone else too and for the sake of transparency, clicking on these links will help me out as an affiliate as I will get a small commission in advance. A Capturing Device There's plenty of capturing devices out there, but I chose the Elgato HD 60, It what I'm used to plus it's cheap and very reliable. Can't do go wrong there. Here's a nice and to the point video to help you get everything setup when you get everything else. RCA cables you may already have some of them readily available around the house, but if not here you go. The red, yellow, and white cables you use to connect your console to your TV. RCA Splitter You want to have a Splitter box if you have more than one console. It's a pain in the ass
