But the tool is very dangerous. I have posted about this tool many months back at AskVG:

Lots of people complained about endless Recovery Console problem after using this tool.

So I have updated the above mentioned article with proper instructions which can be followed to enjoy this awesome tool without any worries.

If you want to customize Windows 7 Boot screen, don't forget to read the detailed instructions given at following link: :)

Can someone where it does work for, give there "BOOTMGR"? 32-bit system? i believe that is the cause of the problem. it should be in this path "C:\Windows\winsxs\"

This program was great until microsoft released the KB2949927 update, which did something to the winloader. The program would even give a error message stating that winloader had been changed due to a update. So now unfortunately, the program won't work and even worse, will render Windows 7 unbootable. Even rebuilding the BCD won't work. Any chance the author of the Boot Updater program can re-code his work as a work around for the problem? It would be very much appreciated, as I have no intention of migrating to Windows 8.1.

I used to use this tool all the time but on my current setup I had updated to latest windows updates and now the app crashes on startup. I wonder what update broke this program on 64 bit windows.

its doesnt work on win 7 ultimate x32,always end with "bootmgr image is corrupt, the system cannot boot". is there any solution?

1. Boot up in safe mode (Press F8 during startup).
2. Open CMD (Command Prompt).
3. Type "sfc /scannow" without the " ".
4. Reboot.
5. Done.
