A Bootable USB: Utility to Create Bootable USB Drive to Install Windows Vista, Server 2008 and 7

Imagine a situation where you need to install Windows Vista or 7 in a system but you don't have access to DVD drive. We all know Windows Vista, Server 2008 or 7 comes in DVDs and you'll need a DVD drive to install them. Then how will you install them? The solution is, you can create a bootable USB drive which can be used to install Windows without using DVD drive.

"A Bootable USB" is a small utility which can create a bootable USB drive to install Windows Vista, Server 2008 or 7.

Does this tool creates a UEFI compatible installation? Windows7-USB-DVD-tool does not and i'm looking to an alternative.

Tried to format the drive and the tool froze - had to close the process, and format my drive directly from Windows. Tried the tool again, and the Choose ISO button is greyed out with seemingly no way to select an ISO from my computer. Pretty useless...

formating taking long time

a bootable was used in USB flash drive
Note well: Sometimes the "open ISO" button freezes for a time - at least change the cursor to a "wait" cursor while you're checking the ISO... Otherwise - awesome and very useful tool!

nice tool buddy......but would be nicer if there is a progress bar that says hw much of the work s been done currently.....and sometimes the format usb option gets stuck at 70-80%......

This is a great little app! On the flip side couldn't you just copy your Win 7 DVD contents onto a Flashdrive, paste all the contents in a folder on the computer you wish to upgrade, and run setup.exe?
