In the span of two weeks (TWO WHOLE FUCKING WEEKS) artists have had to deal with: muskrat buying Twitter, leading to the giant artist mass exodus and migration to other platforms the introduction of pay-to-win Twitter verification badges for the low price of $8/month (which was originally $20/MONTH) muskrat going 🤷‍♀️ when criticized about account impersonation, which in turn backfired so hard people were impersonating him and he turned into the biggest asshole crybaby who “couldn’t take a joke” so he straight up suspended or banned said accounts same as the above goes for “free speech” DeviantART introducing their new AI generator shit, which automatically enrolled ALL deviations on their database to feed AI generators (guess what, people ✨ did not like that one bit ✨) such severe backlash from artists that tons of people straight up deactivated their dA accounts or sought out bots to remove everything from their accounts to nuke them from orbit dA backpedalled so fucking hard
