I'm doing an assignment for photography class where we have to take 5 blur motion, 5 stop motion, 5 shallow depth of field, and 5 great depth of field. This is one of the shallow dof pics I decided to upload (along with some others that'll be added later).
If you can't tell what the photo is, it's a worm's eye view of a road sign. I was walking to class, saw it, and formed an idea. I love that it turned out so neat. Look at it as there being a left and right lane, and the holes are acting as the "white lines" that separate the two.
Some people don't like interpreting what their photos say and enjoy it when others have their own view of it, but I like to explain how I look at things, ya know? If you haven't noticed, I'm not one of those people who just put "..." in their Artist's Comments. I believe a select few just do that to look all high and mighty and "Oh look at my picture it's so great that no words are needed to describe it." Kinda snooty if you ask me. :\ But hey! I'm not saying everyone who puts a "..." are like that! Not saying anything and letting the viewer interpret your photos is fine too.
So, on another note, I don't have time yet to work on my Animal-ipstick commissions right now, but by the end of this semester I should be able to get started on those.
