The colors are nice, I like how you have the gray buildings in the background. water effect is good but not enough to look wet though. The glossiness of the stone is almost there in the foreground. Griffin statue is very cool. The pose of spiderman is good. The head is way off! badly off and it stands out. the leg half hidden by the griffin is also way off and stands out. arms are too thin and the anatomy of the ribs are looking like a folded balloon. This is just learning anatomy and the figure in motion. there are plenty of books you can get on that. One I would suggest for anatomy though, that is great, is " an atlas of anatomy for artists" by Fritz Schider made by Dover publications, inc New York.
very good composition, buildings are great, and the atmosphere is set for the mood of oppressive times ahead.
Keep up the great work!

i love the colouring and the background and everything, except your spider man's head is shaped oddly. looks bulbous. just saying.

Ah, really like this, lovely style in terms of proportions and general tone. Colouring fits well with the lineart too. As a colourist, I would make 2 amends to it, but they are very minor! I take the opportunity to use a photo BG also when it arrives... especially with a scene like this. The photo you chose is essentially perfect and the adjustments made for it are fine, but the angle is wrong and the consideration of the size of the building Spidey is on is lost with this BG... I feel a whole sky setting would actually be more placed, or you could just use a city upshot to line up with the lineart perpective. Like I said though, thats a minor niggle for me. Secondly, colourwise, I think the foreground buildings upper should be less saturated (maybe darker) to stop drawing my eye over to it... I wanna see the amazing Spidey, not the wall haha! The logo is cool, sits well with the BG colours, I know some people hate it, buts its always cool trying to emulate a cover.

Great piece, and I've only stumbled across this so far in your gallery and its well deserving of seeing more of your stuff so you get a 'watch' from me :D

I like your style and I think you did a good job on this. Normally it's not a good idea to add a photo background, but in this case it works. Actually the only thing that I don't like about it is the logo. Logos are generally only ever added to covers to identify the book. Art always looks better without them. Also, I'm not sure if coloring is a focus for you or not, but your coloring is very good. Great work :)

XD

I think it looks sick. I think if your gonna do a pre-existing character the right way to do it is to use your own style so you still get something interesting and totally unique.

It's really for the long head but it's a style of my spidey, In any cases it is true!

Thancks for your critiques...

I'm no pro and my drawing skills are still novice, but his head looks way too long I know you were going for that foreshortening looking down look but it looks like an alien in spider garb.

Colors are amazing wish I could color like that.
