It's been a while since I update this, but a lot's happened in the last year so far that I figured I should get back on here and post one. So here goes...
The first and most important thing that has developed over the last year is the coming of my first published work. It all started two years ago when I was just an intern at Image Comics. An off-the-cuff comment turned into a quickly drawn sketch turned into many conversations, texts, emails, and finally, after some encouragement, the world we soon be introduced to Captain Sully and his best friend, Millie, who just happens to be a giant millipede from outer space. I'm still working on the pages now, but the whole process is exciting and I can't wait for this to finally be published. More details as we get them.
Secondly, my friends and fellow deviants,
, along with Kevin Yuen, graphic designer extraordinaire, and Mike White, creator of SLG's Amity Blamity, have formed and reformed into [P5]CREATIVE. The studio title "P5" comes from the tools that we all use in creating: pencils, pixels, paint, pens, and paper. It also refers to the number of the founders of this little group. Double meaning, see? Aren't we clever?
Our hope with the studio and the new blog is to build up our creative strengths as well as our experience together in this industry. We span a wide variety of styles, but have come together out of our mutual respect for each other and our creative visions. Take a look at our blog, share it with your friends and family. We'll be posting regularly the things that we're working on, so please bookmark us and keep coming back. We've got a lot in store for y'all! Here's the link: www.p5creative.com
Thanks for reading.
