Swordswoman's Stance

This is a character of mine that I created for the tabletop game Tephra. Tephra is a steampunk version of D&D basically and I am completely hooked. In fact I make tons of characters just for giggles. Anyways I drew her in charcoal and my favorite thing about this work is the texture of the fur and the lace on the dress.

Her name is Sarah Falman. She uses a giant sword and can make poisons. She is very stoic and follows her moral code very strictly. She won't attack unarmed civilians, but if you attack her any sense of restraint is gone. She doesn't talk much, but has a very expressive face. She also has a soft spot for children. She travels around from town to town doing odd jobs, mostly as a bodyguard.
