It has been FOREVER. Also, apparently the last time I was here I was in a bad mood, and I stored literally everything in my account that wasn't to do with Nursery Crimes. So, I have put it all back. I don't want to make any bold promises about updating here again with regularity (well, I do want to make such bold promises, but I don't want to break them ;)) so, if you are still out there/remember my existence, I sometimes post art on Twitter or Tumblr, on both my user name is 'voodoobeans'
It's been a long time. I have a new job that I'm about to uproot for, but after that I will hopefully update here regularly again. Nursery Crimes is playing at the Bird's Eye View festival on March 12th as part of the Bloody Women horror shorts section. If you're in London, check it out! The whole festival looks like a great time. I'll be there on the 12th with LadiesWhoLunch (https://www.deviantart.com/ladieswholunch) who co-wrote the film :D
And now I suppose I better stop procrastinating and start packing. Sigh.
Hey guys. Nursery Crimes is screening @ The British Horror Film Festival in Bournemouth on Saturday October 30th, at the Pier Theatre. No idea what time it's on, or if any of us will manage to be there, but if you're in that neck of the woods... check it out :D
Yesterday I had my final presentation for the Masters course. No idea how it went - we'll find out soon enough! I think you'd have to try pretty damn hard to fail, so I'm not too worried. So now they only way out is up -- I've decided to clear out most of my old artwork and have a fresh start from this point on.
I just uploaded a bunch of new/proper photos of the Nursery Crimes puppets - all taken by Steven Crichton, whose stuff you should go and check out :D
The film is nearly finished, we're just waiting on sound. It's screening from the 28th of August to the 5th of September at Duncan of Jordanstone, as part of the Masters degree show. T
