Support OhShinaKai!

I made this image in the spirit of OhShinaKai who tends to make pretty, colorful magical worlds.

Despite me generally making a far grimmer dystopian world in my images, he was always one of my most important early source of inspiration, and he gave me the best and most thorough advise as a beginner in AI Art. In fact, OhShinaKai has helped so many of us going down this path. Always a positive attitude. Always giving people the thumbs up.

For the second time he is facing the serious censoring machine of Deviant Art. I have very grateful for the great platform DeviantArt has made for all of us. I have many times looked for alternatives, but something equally good as DeviantArt is actually challenging to find.

Yet, I hope it will not come across as ungrateful that I am critical of the censoring practices DeviantArt engages in. They come across as rather arbitrary. I know this is a difficult and hard choice. But if it overwhelms you, what about including us users and creators on the platform in trying to police content?

Right now, it comes across as rather arbitrary when OhShinaKai which has long devoted himself to creating mostly cute and innocent images. Sure, the girls got big boobs, but they are rarely engage in any anything lewd. They are generally quite well-dressed.

It contrasts with some much horrible stuff you can still find on DeviantArt. It could be women half naked beaten bloody. It could straight out child pornography. So much of this stuff is still accessible on this site and yet OhShinaKai who represents the opposite of this face takedown and possibly loss of his account, due to an overly technical interpretation of the rules.

I hope others can join me in protesting any decision like that. OhShinaKai is a good faith artist, who always comes with a positive attitude. Always does his best to avoid offending or displeasing anyone.
