Razor, Brace, Bishop, and King were hanging out at the side of the large cactus-shaped building. Razor wasleaning against the side of the building, Brace and Bishop were standing, and King was in his froggy sitting position. "So, why'd you guys form an official team?" Razor asked. "You know that we got that recruitment slip from that task where we served food at a barbecue? Well I'm almost positive that Mark and Checker will be recruiting Chess as soon as they can, and me and King have to keep a close eye on him." Bishop said. "Ah, I see." Razor said, nodding.

"Gentlemen." A voice to their right saiad. Razor, Brace, Bishop, and King all looked in the direction of the voice, and saw Rueben. "Ah, I got your attention. Good." Rueben said.

Razor bowed. "So, Lord Rueben. What have you gotten our attention for?" Razor asked. "I have a mission for all of you." Rueben said. "Alright, hit it on us." Bishop said. "I have been asking many Raider teams for this task. Anyways, I am tired and angry from having to sleep in a tent just like all you other simpletons. I want you four to go up to the bat's and the rat's suite, and mess with them. Steal something from them, mess with their room, even drive them out if you want to. I'm upset, and need something to amuse myself." Rueben said. Razor stayed silent, while Bishop looked at Rueben, disgusted. "Wait, WHAT THE FUCK?! We don't want to do that! They deserve that room!" Bishop yelled angrily. Reuben stood up high, and his eye gleamed maliciously. "Nuh uh uh. I have done you and Chess a large favor a long time ago, and now it's time to repay your debt." Rueben said. Bishop growled angrily. "Grrrr, fine." Bishop said.

Rueben then looked to Razor normally. "I do not have anything against you, so the choice is yours. Do you accept?" Rueben asked. Razor shook his head. "I am sorry, but I must decline. I do not do those kinds of things." Razor said. Brace was looking at Reuben, confused, but knew not to speak out. Rueben scoffed. "So be it. It would be great to have you do this too, bit I cannot force you." Reuben said. He then looked to Bishop, smirking wickidly. "I better see you two messing with them." Rueben said right before he left. "Grrr... Fucking bastard." Bishop said.

Razor looked to Bishop. "You guys are in debt to him?" Razor asked. "I don't want to talk about it." Bishop said, looking away. He then quickly looked to Razor. "Hey, who does Rueben talk to you with so much damn respect?" Bishop asked. Razor shrugged. "I don't know. We were the ones who led him through the dungeon. Brace helped Rueben through the dungeon alot, and I guess that he respects Brace. And I'm Brace's guardian and partner, I got respect too, I guess." Razor said. "Huh. Okay." Bishop said.

"Hello, fellow hunters." A voice said from their left. Everyone looked in that direction, and saw Robin, who was leaning against the wall. "Ah, good. Crazy, isn't he?" Robin said. "Yes, I agree with that." Razor said. "Damn right." Bishop and King said. Robin stopped leaning on the wall. "Anyways, I have an alternative for you. If you don't want to sabotage Flint and Solstice, and obviously you two don't, then instead, you could protect them. Keep watch and try to avoid of of the other Hunters who sided with Reuben to ruin their suite." Robin said. "Sign us up." Razor said, determined. "Well, I'm sure you heard about the situation I was in earlier..." Bishop said. "Yes, I heard. It's not your fault, so I'll forget that I heard what Reuben was talking about. But if I catch you, I have no choice but to cast a strike on your record." Robin said. "Alright, thanks." Bishop said. Robin nodded. "Well, I'll be on my way. If you protect Solstice and Flint well, I'll be sure to reward you two later. Make us proud." Robin said, before leaving. Razor looked to Bishop. "What kind of relationship do you have with the Hunters?" Razor asked. "A relationship. Although we are gangsters, we help out the guild quite a bit. Me and Chess are actually quite familiar with some of the guild leaders." Bishop said. "Interesting." Razor said.

"Anyways, it seems that we'll be fighting against each other, ay?" Razor said. "Yup. It seems so." Bishop said. "Well, we should probably go and prepare now. See ya later." Razor said. "Later." Bishop said. Razor and Brace then left.

This is the prologue part of the first hunter task. I'm writing this on paper irl, so it will be in lots of shorter parts, like I used to do. Also, another thing, this techniccally takes place after the barbecue, but I haven't finished that task. I'm writing it all on my computer, so it will be just one big page.

Also, I'm using team intials again! Yay! It'll probably be a thing I'll do alot.

Note: Both Team Peirce and the Chessmate Bandits completed their task, and Razor got a Merit.
