First let me say, astounding job, I don't think I've seen someone use acrylic paint to this standard before, it's almost photorealistic. How long did this piece take you?

Now onto this, I find oils to be much easier to blend with, and I feel they have a much more varied scope for the ways you can use them than acrylics do, for me acrylics are somewhat limited and harder to get a long with than oil. I really think you should try your hand with oils you have a great gift and I'd like to see how your experience with oil paint would turn out ;).
Thank you, This painting took me two days to finish.
I would like to try Oil paint next time, I haven't used it before because it's more expensive and at the moment I don't have a job , it's not a perfect time to buy oil paints.
In January 2010 I'm so desperately looking for work in animation, unfortunately it's really hard to find a traditional animation job here in Sydney Australia, so I decided to try canvas painting and see how it'll work. I have done quite a few in the first month ,unfortunately I haven't sold any so I stopped painting.I think 8 or 9 paintings I've done during that time are now sitting in my garage.

The cost of oils is expensive I agree, also you would need spirits to clean the brushes and possibley you'll need new brushes. That is a shame that you haven't sold them, admittedly I haven't seen these other paintings but if they're of the same standard I think you'd do well not to give up hope. Art is a very personal thing, especially if someone is going to display it within their home and what one person may love another may hate regardless of the talent on show within the painting.

I'd really like to see some more of your work, and for you to carry on painting! I'd very much like to see you try an expressive style on canvas.
Thanks, I posted some of my other paintings in my gallery folder.
I am now trying to sell all my original artworks through this website, thanks for the advice.

Wow. That's stunning!!

I can't believe that's acrylic!! It looks like oil, I can't make my acrylics do that :(

Really amazing work, there's something almost "human-ish" about their faces.
thank you, I don't know how to use oil paint, haven't tried it before.
