The composition of the photograph is just perfect to give you the feeling that you are the one there about to check a corpse or as if you're about to recognise the body of someone dear to you. The lighting is completely right to give you a sense of brightness but still quite cold and gloomy, somehow still as lonely as working in a morgue could be. Even though I have seen many shots with the same subject, I think that you've managed to give it a different feel and that's what surprised me as I saw this. The fact that it still looks as if it was still in use gives it a sort of feeling that makes you think there is a corpse nearby. Overall, a definitely interesting shot that seems naturally morbid rather than a purposefully created atmosphere.
