The first thing I noticed was how it appears as if the girl is almost melting into the brush. I love the mystery of this piece.
I also enjoy the contrast in beauty between the girl and the bird, as well as the warm and cool contrast in the background and foreground.
Everything is so intense; the girl's expression; and especially the colors in this piece. It's sensual, mysterious, and captivating.
It may just be me, but in my opinion her hand could've been curled more... where her face and body language shows interest her hand does not.
I love that it almost looks as if she's leaning in to kiss the bird; as if it's going to turn into a handsome prince.

All and all this is piece is magical!
