Trying to make more illustrations that tell a story instead of just a simple portrait. So here we have a wildlife photographer encountering an Irish Elk (currently extinct) while a tiny bird is messing up his hair. xD
The foliage near the character is called hydrangea paniculata "unique" for anyone wondering.
I'm really happy with the way this turned out. I focused on the faces since I rarely get to draw guys. I hope I get more commissions for male characters haha.
(this is also a very very late artwork for pride month. I wasn't able to make it in time. I also have a mermaid lined up as a personal project which was supposed to be for May. Well... time flies when you have deadlines haha)

Finally done! I've been doing darker pieces lately so I tried making this very bright and warm. I'm happy with how it turned out. I used one of Nathan Fowkes studies for inspiration
The character was described to be a blind cleric by the client. I wanted to put the character in a forest instead of practicing her cleric abilites because I feel like I could pull off the story of her being blind better in a forest setting. The concept of this artwork played around her gentle nature as well, as she is seen relaxing while listening to some canaries singing.
