While working on a quick design resembling a peacock feather, I remembered an old superstition involving them. Whether you consider yourself superstitious or not, are there any that you follow just because?

I voted Walking under a ladder, but my family believes in some strange ones (mainly from the Puerto Rican side) Grandma told me not wearing socks is bad luck and will lead to sickness, eating greens on New Years Day will bring you money, an itch in your palm means you will be getting money soon (one I've found to be strangely true!), opening an umbrella in the house will bring bad luck, and leaving scissors on the bed will cause strife in the family as well as bad luck.

I also just don't like walking under ladders because it just seems dangerous to me. I don't like the prospect of something falling on my head (and even though I don't really think it's bad luck, I always feel it's better to err on the side of caution with these things)

Needless to say, I follow all of Grandma Cordero's advice, even if I don't really believe in it XD I feel it is better to not tempt any unknown forces out in the world!
