February - March 2020: Video game [CLOSED]

For this bimonthly prompt we got two pieces!!

 

Congratulations jammyrolling! You receive a common slot from the February-March prompt event! Make sure to screenshot this journal with your username showing when you submit your MYO! Even if you trade/give away your slot the new owner must provide proof of this screenshot + proof of transaction between the original contest winner and the new owner.

Note: monthly themes are now bimonthly themes! This means you have an extra month to work on your piece.

For this bimonthly challenge, your task is to imagine your character as a video game characters! Whether this is achieved by inserting them in your favourite game or by drawing them in the style of pixel retro game is up to you, as long as the theme is more or less clear from the image!

Here are some ideas if you feel stuck:

• Draw your character in the style of a game you like
• Draw an unbloomed & bloomed "card" version of your character, in the spirit of various mobages (FGO, Love Live etc)
• Add a control panel / some other user interface to your drawing, as if the image was a game screen 
• A crossover where a video game character meets yours
