[TWWM] Research in the Mountains...Maybe

Nothing like deadline stress to make one level up a bunch in painting O_O Dunno what happened, but I went nuts with painting and I'm really proud and surprised of the results? Like wow, I did this! Though I'm also amused at how I intended to make the mini-activity quick, only for it to turn into one of my longer event pieces LOL...

This is the critically endangered Nepenthes Macrophylla, or the Large-Leaved Pitcher Plant!

It's one of the more unusual nepenthes I've seen, so I really wanted to draw it, and liked the idea of Patata cooling off by bathing in the plant's pool while Heidi has fun hanging off a fallen tree or whatever pfft. Patata is also inviting Heidi to join her XD
Unfortunately, in real life, this species of nepenthes appears to only be found on one mountain summit that seems to be a mix between tropical and cloud forest and is under severe threat of extinction.  

This mini-activity was a great idea though, as it let me learn about this fascinating species of nepenthes and get to draw Patata and Heidi being goofy haha
