Hi! Have you heard of the bullet journal method? I've been away for so many years people probably have forgotten my excistance. Though many of the artists I follow here are still active which makes me very happy. I'm lucky to come back to so much art content from those I follow!
To my joy, some of you that I had most contact with still excists! I'm trying to catch up on old friends here, while publishing and motivating my self to do some new stuff whatever that might be! And maybe I find some new artists to follow aswell!
I still do art my self, but I never share, publish and I don't even complete most of it. Just goes from one thing to the next. I actually take mostly photographs and my new favorite platform have been Instragram
. Again I hope to change that a tiny bit ^^
At the begining of this year I spent alot of time in my Bullet Journal. It's been a passion of mine the recent years to track my life, plan the future and review the past. I've never been so content with my life before getting deep into this method! Because of this Bullet Journal method, that I've learned from Ryder Carrolls videos, I have so much more insight to my own every day life.
There are also crazy many and cool ideas on spreads to look up on pinterest. If you feel you need to plan your future better and get some controll or at least some ideas over your own life it's one of the places to look. The best page on where to start is bullejournal.com
I've usually kept my book simple, though I've tried some fancy spreads. It can be fun to decorate, but efficiancy is the key for my life. It needs to work as fast as my brain. Here I track everything from my habits, my monthly cycle, lists of books, movies, games and items purchases I want to do or as I do them, my economy, art plans and ideas, goals and steps to get there. But most importantly I use it every day to look over dates and plans I've made with people, and stuff I need or want to do that day. It's became my brain extencion for past, present and future!
His method is brilliant! In fact it's definetly made me smarter, in a way that I remember better the important things, more focus and easier to cross off time sucking things. Things I find that is not really important to me any more or I shoudln't really prioritize. Some times I don't even need to look at it anymore before the next day because I remember better just writing it down. It's become a way for my mind to learn how to pay attention and make it stick to my memory. If I find my self struggling I just look it up in my bujo brain.
It's especially good for those of us, like me, who have ADHD. Or just one of those personaities who are very scatter brained, creative and have so many ideas and thoughts running through you head and daydream more than what's good for me. Now I remember what I should be doing!
Anyway, if you made it this far, thank you! and I hope to see you around
