Just finished watching 'Solo. A Starwars Story' on DVD. Dam good film. Well directed, written, and played. The only reason I can think of it not doing well in the cinema is because of Disney, and its sausage machine philosophy of film making. People are used to a Starwars film once every few years. Not one or two a year. It has numbed the target audience. To be fare to Disney, they paid far too much for Lucasfilm, and have to rake in as much as they can to pay the loan back. The result is chaos. They should have stuck with the mainstream films every few years for cinema release, and pushed the anthologies through the DVD market, which has far greater returns.
Seemed to have gone off track a bit. Anyway. Solo. A good solid film suitable for the whole family. Get yourselves a copy.
