Not necessarily mentally, but definitely creatively. I have very few ideas, I feel pretty exhausted working any, so I finish only handful of those, most are left half-done, and I'm painfully aware I will not come back to them, and the few, that reach any point of completion are thrown away (once tried to burn one, but it didn't want to caught fire - I assume it was still too wet ... still pretty odd, if You think about it).
There is always something glaringly wrong about them, and I can't match a colour palette for the life of me, colours are either too samey, or they hurt the eye, which is possibly the saddest part for me, as I really enjoy/ed colouring.
I have no illusions that I shall get any further from where I am now, or were before, but if You've any suggestions how to have fun with drawing/painting, those advices would be more than welcomed.
P.S. If You come across Gamma(Fabrino) Watercolour 200 paper - don't use it for watercolour! It definitely added to my woeful state of mind, as it not only bloats after being treated with any amount of water, but also sucks all colour away, making any paint look duller than cheapest kids' watercolour You can find - seriously, I tried probably every pan of my eclectic set, which includes even some infrequent randoms from Shmincke, Windsor-Newton and White Nights (ok those aren't that infrequent), which on different occasions look rather nice, yet here are pale and grey.
I mean the paper is cheap, so it's not a blow to a wallet, but still a bit of a warning.
