I'm a private person, but I wanted to share this with you. I finally had the pleasure of watching the fireworks last night on the fourth. I never had the opportunity in the past for various reasons. It was wonderful and fantastic. It was also very emotional for me. I was born in Romania when it was still under the Iron Curtain.
I came to the U.S. with my mom when I was four, just two months before the revolution happened and Communism fell there. Our life was hard and it's still hard in the U.S., but growing up and living here... well, I love it and I treasure it. I never have and never will take it for granted. My mom is a U.S. citizen and through her, so am I. We love this great nation.
Yes, the economy stinks, the politicians stink... it's not perfect. But nonetheless, we love and treasure our freedom that is granted to us because of the U.S. Constitution. And most of all, we love and respect our fellow men and women who serve in the military. Thank you for your service. I salute you.
I also want to share a video/song. It's called "Proud To Be An American" by Lee Greenwood. I can't embed it in here. So, if you want to listen to it, here's the link:

For now, please respect the fact that I experienced something that I never have before, which is seeing the Fourth of July fireworks for the first time. Just give me a few days to calm down and not be so emotional, lol. Thanks! Love you all.
Hugs & Kisses!
BTW, thanks for reading my little/long speech.
