okay this took several hours too many. i think my perfectionist streak is really coming out -.- i worked on this late last night until my arm fell asleep lol. and why?
well the problem was i couldn't figure out the background. its supposed to look like a dream, surreal and glowing. at first i made a big black cloud hovering above to add contrast, but it just wasn't balancing the image. i spent like an hour toying with that cloud until i called it a night.
so this morning i got back to the image, and in five minutes i completely threw out the black cloud and made it look like this. funny, how simple it was after all. all that work for nothing haha. go figure.
but i love the way the horse turned out, after hours of work. at least i knew what i was doing unlike the bg. i feel like i am getting the hang of doing hair. its about time for a tuturial, right? been meaning to get it done. i feel confident enough to make one now.
i was listening to Alizee last night for inspiration, before i changed it to worship music. i think they both worked ;]
